"Where do we even start with the Trueloves? We were planning a Scottish wedding all the way from London which certainly wasn’t without its challenges but the Trueloves made everything so much easier. They were an absolute delight to work with leading up to the wedding, happily accommodating all of our asks - and then came the main event. Boy did they absolutely smash it out of the park for us! "The Trueloves played our wedding on the 19th of October at the Ubiquitous Chip and they really could not have been any better!! Amazing from start to finish. They learned our first dance song with only a few weeks to prepare and sounded like they'd been playing it forever. Pedro and the guys really brought the party and their set list was spectacular, everyone was up dancing all night long we really didn't want the night to end. Song choices, vocals and music has been raved about by everyone! "We had The Trueloves play our wedding last night at Lochside House Hotel and they were unreal!
Started off with our first dance song stand by me and the guys had even checked how quickly we’d like our wedding party to join us before it all kicked off, which was a nice touch. From there they had everyone on their feet dancing all night. They really have an amazing set list and adapt to what people were into/took requests throughout the night!
They also allowed me up to drum with them which was brave their part at that time in the evening haha (thankfully it went well)!
The conga line was another personal highlight of ours and resulted in literally everyone on the dance floor in the end!
Other reviews have mentioned it, but the GBX playlist DJ set at the end of the night was class haha!
Again can’t thank the guys enough for giving us such a memorable night!

"I hired The Trueloves for a large corporate event and they completely blew us away. So much better than we could have hoped for. Right from the start they were so accommodating. We were able to switch out songs for the corporate event vibe and tailor it to a more 'dance-club' scene. They rocked the roof off! We had over 500 guests, with people queuing for over an hour outside to try to get in... The company couldn't be happier. The lead vocalist was simply brilliant - interacting with the audience and getting everyone on their feet. The Trueloves were truly amazing - thank you!!"

"They say that your wedding is the one of the most important days of your life. So obviously we wanted everything to be perfect, and choosing the right band to play for us and our guests was a little bit overwhelming to start with as you don’t 100% know what you will get until the day. We listened to many samples from various bands and The Trueloves stood out, especially with their version of our first dance song, which was brilliant.

"Absolutely amazing band! Outstanding from start to finish!

We chose Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis for our first dance- the true loves covered it beautifully and made it so special.

We then had a few ceilidh songs which got everyone up on the dance floor - the dance floor was so busy at one point we had to make two circles to fit everyone in. We also had quite a few people who had never been to a ceilidh before and the guys were brilliant at explaining what to do and made it very easy for all guests to join in.

In between all of this, the band sang a variety of different songs - the range was brilliant and had something for everyone in there.

All the guests since have commented on how good the band was too - don’t think it gets much better than that!

Thank you so much guys - would 100% recommend you to anyone looking for a wedding band with fantastic energy and vocals.

"We booked The Trueloves during lockdown based on their live video clips as we thought they sounded great. These don’t do them justice as they were incredible live!! They had our dance floor full all night and adjusted their set as they went reading the crowd and what would get everyone on the dance floor. They got involved with our guests and created fantastic audience participation and such fun moments that we won’t forget! We received comments from our guests and how incredible the band were and that the music was “top tier”. Even though the band is incredibly busy in July they learned a song for us which was for my father daughter dance and it meant the world to both me and my dad. "I saw The Trueloves initially at a wedding fair probably about 5/6 years ago in Kilmarnock and thought if I ever got married I’d want to book them as they sounded so great. Fast forward to 2019 I got engaged and The Trueloves were one of the first couple things we booked, my other half took a gamble on me saying they would be worth it based on seeing them a few years previous. I was slightly worried given the length of time since I’d seen them but trust me when I say these guys are incredible! We had so many people say to us how good the band were and how good the vocals were, communication with Pedro on the run up to our wedding was easy and they checked in with us a couple times during the evening to check if there was anything specific we wanted including a few song requests. They threw some ceilidh dances in which went down so well. 100% recommend this band if your in need of one! With a huge thank you to The Trueloves, Mr and Mrs Jamieson "

"A huge thanks to The Trueloves for performing at our wedding reception! In my opinion, a band can either make or break a reception and the trueloves definitely made ours !
Weeks before our wedding we confirmed our first dance song which the band learned and performed. We also added an extra hour disco to the end of the night which was not an issue. Our date was also pushed back by the year and so we were very lucky that the band could accommodate this.

We also had loads of compliments re the band from guests which was nice but the dance floor spoke for itself !

The band knew which songs to play and when to play them to get the crowd dancing and enjoying themselves. They took the time to learn our first dance even though they’re extremely busy with weddings and events right now (due to the Covid backlog). Pedro and David in particular were so accommodating, asking us about our preferences and if there were particular songs we wanted played at certain times. I always knew they would be good having watched clips of them when deciding however, having them perform live for us was just amazing. They interacted with the crowd, nailed our first dance and the dance floor was never empty the entire evening. If only they could have played till the early hours!! "The Trueloves are truly amazing! I had the pleasure of hearing them at my Niece's wedding and they were everything you could possibly want in a live band.
They made us all feel welcome and some folks even kicked off their shoes to kick up their heels! The range of genre and quality of performance is second to none. I am disabled so had to miss out on the dancing but, fortunately, the boys were so entertaining, I was certainly caught up in their enthusiasm. It was a delight to listen to them and watch them create a magical atmosphere. Those that were able just didn't sit down all night.
The Trueloves gave us all a great night of fun and a perfect selection of music to keep everyone happy.
I can honestly say that I have never come across a better band at an event.
If you are looking for the best wee band in Scotland, look no further, stop in your tracks and check them out. You'll be glad you did.

"What a wonderful wedding! A magnificent venue at Crear in beautiful Argyll and the best band to entertain us that I've ever heard at any wedding, anywhere! The Trueloves were sensational and had our guests up and dancing with enthusiasm and delight for every number they played. Their set list was excellent with a great variety to suit every taste including some Latin songs which had our large Spanish/American contingent along with all the Scots going wild on the dance floor. We knew it was going to be a spectacular wedding dance when the floor even filled up during the band's sound check!
Their version of "500 Miles" would have had the Barrowlands jumping! I lost count of the number of people personally thanking me afterwards for choosing such an enjoyable and pleasant group of accomplished musicians. I can't sing their praises highly enough and wish I could find a reason to be entertained by The Trueloves every weekend. Rest assured I'll be recommending them and Hireaband to every wedding couple considering their choice of band and anyone else looking for a terrific band for any other celebration. They were very communicative and encouraging in terms of ensuring we had the songs played at the wedding that we wanted. The responses to any questions we had were very quick and no ask was too much. "My new husband has already left a review from on our wedding last Saturday (17th March) but I just wanted to reiterate just how amazing The Trueloves were - not just on the night but from the moment we booked them (13 months before the wedding) until the days after. They were very communicative and encouraging in terms of ensuring we had the songs played at the wedding that we wanted. The responses to any questions we had were very quick and no ask was too much. They were absolutely fantastic on the night and our guests commented on just how good they were and their excellent mix of songs to suit all ages and many genres were covered.

The Trueloves played during our wedding on Sunday 4th March 2018 and they were outstanding. EVERYONE raved about how good they were, including my husband and I! We genuinely couldn't rate them highly enough. They're also amazing guys and were brilliant with our guests and taking requests. They were very interactive with our guests which made our night! My 4 year old nephew wanted to sing a little song at the end of the night and the guys happily accommodated this. He now wants to be a part of the band!! "UNDOUBTEDLY THE BEST IN SCOTLAND!
I booked the Trueloves for a party of about 80 people. They were fantastic. All at the party, which was a real eclectic mix, raved about how good the band were. The singer David is head and shoulders better than other bands I've heard. The guitarist Pedro is reckoned to one of the nation's best. From the organisational contact to the event itself they were completely professional, but huge fun too! I really could not recommend The Trueloves enough.
